Boeing has announced its largest-ever landing gear exchange agreement during the Singapore Airshow, marking a significant milestone in aviation aftermarket services. The contract will support more than 75 aircraft across the Boeing 737 MAX and Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleets operated by the Singapore Airlines Group.
This landmark agreement underscores Boeing’s commitment to delivering advanced maintenance solutions that enhance operational efficiency and fleet reliability. Through the landing gear exchange program, airlines gain increased flexibility in overhaul scheduling, enabling them to maximize the service life of landing gear systems while significantly reducing aircraft downtime.

The landing gear exchange program is designed to provide airlines with immediate access to fully serviceable landing gear assemblies through a managed inventory system and a robust partner network. This eliminates the need for carriers to maintain large inventories of spare landing gear on-site, thereby reducing operational costs and improving efficiency. Additionally, the program shortens aircraft-on-ground (AOG) time associated with maintenance activities, ensuring higher aircraft availability and improved dispatch reliability across demanding flight schedules.
